Music-Design-Performance首演ERLKÖNIG

项目简介 A Sketch of the Project 

On the basis of the song composition "Erlkönig" by Franz Schubert, a new composition  of the metaphorical themes of the ballad is to be artistically created. The interpretation of contrasting pairs will lead to a journey about human relations through  composition, projections(visuals) and dance theatre. Also, the Chinese tradition of ying and yang is integrated into the dramaturgy of the show between complexity of life and harmony of life.

It is about exploring and sensing the various subjects in Goethe's ERLKÖNIG: relationships, opportunities and dependencies. All artistic expressions should be given their own share of the associative area of creation:

Music – In the form of a composition, using the tradition and the means of the digital world 

Design – In space, light, sound, art-forms 

Performance– in voice, speech, body: through all ways of human expression

Themes: 

Presented in a compositional and metaphorical story telling creation :Threat |Despair | Misunderstanding | Loneliness | Isolation | Seduction | Violence |Tenderness | Distance | Future | Happiness | Wholeness
